Abstract

There’s yet more evidence to support the therapeutic benefits of simply being around horses. In recognition of Global One Health Day today, Darlene Chalmers of the University of Regina and Colleen Dell of the University of Saskatchewan are releasing research results showing that people who participated in mental health and addictions treatment programs involving interactions with horses reported therapeutic benefits in their healing.
