Abstract
The University of Regina took part in the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. A vigil was held in memory of the 14 women who were shot dead at École Polytechnique in Montreal on December 6, 1989. The École Polytechnique Massacre, also known as the Montreal Massacre, is when 25-year-old Marc Lépine shot and killed 14 women before committing suicide.
