Abstract
The beloved and respected Dr. Haraguari Gupta, who passed away in 2016, is being remembered with the launch of a lecture series in his name.
Gupta was a longtime Professor of Mathematics at the U of R.
The H.N. Gupta Memorial Lecture has been launched by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. The inaugural lecture takes place March 2, 2018, and will feature Professor Dr. Martino Lupini from the California Institute of Technology (CalTech), located in Pasadena, California. Lupini is considered a rising star in the mathematics world.
