Angela Davis, the iconic civil rights activist, scholar, author and women’s rights advocate, is speaking on campus to mark International Women’s Day March 8.

Her talk is organized by the student-run Women’s Action Group.

“Angela Davis reminds us of the work that has been done but equally what still needs to be done,” says Samira Wagner, a member of the Women’s Action Group and a third-year major in Political Science also working on a minor in Human Justice.
