Abstract
Two guest speakers will deliver lectures in the Big Thinking series at Congress on Thursday. Françoise Baylis, member of the Order of Canada and renowned bioethicist, will argue that academics have a fundamental responsibility to share their knowledge, and Alaa Murabit, M.D., will focus on emerging security issues and on women’s local leadership that drives sustainable change. Congress 2018, Canada’s largest gathering of the country’s brightest researchers, thinkers, and policy-makers, continues at the University of Regina until June 1.
