Research excellence was celebrated today at the University of Regina. Ralph Goodale, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, announced $1.5 million in funding for 16 research projects. “Investments in science and innovation drive greater productivity and competitiveness, and lead to a more prosperous future,” says Goodale who is also Member of Parliament for Regina-Wascana. “With these investments in natural sciences and engineering brainpower, the government is demonstrating our commitment to research excellence in Regina.”
