Inspiring teachers honoured
Seven university teachers and seven K-12 teachers from across the province were honoured at the recent 10th Annual Inspiring Teaching Awards Dinner at the University of Regina. The Teaching Development Centre at the U of R created the awards to recognize and affirm excellence in teaching. Colleges and faculties are asked to choose an outstanding student who then chooses two of his or her most inspiring teachers - one from his or her K-12 years and one from university years - for the awards.
