Students in the Faculty of Kinesiology are helping to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan by duct-taping professors to a wall on campus.

“For one dollar, you get a piece of duct tape and get to tape either one of our volunteer professors,” said Andrea Leclair, lead student organizer of the event.

Leclair adds that in her Therapeutic Recreation 447 class, this is the second fundraising event project they’ve held this semester. They hope to raise more than $1,000 for the hospital. At their first event they raised close to $700. Leclair said she got the duct-taping idea from Pintrest and knew that this would be the perfect way to raise money for their project.

Dean of the Faculty, Harold Reimer stated that the creativity of these projects is outstanding and make a difference to the charities of their choosing. He adds that this class project is annual and has been a success each year that it has taken place.
